Christopher A. Humphries
President and CEO, Mission Capable
Mr. Humphries has over 25 years of combined experience in the private industry, military service and federal government. Mr. Humphries has a commitment to excellence. He firmly believes that all employees want to do well on the job – our challenge is to bring it out. Mr. Humphries brings a new refreshing approach to leadership that has been sorely missed. He continually leads and motivates individuals and organizations towards their mission. He is also a certified Course Developer/Instructor. As a dynamic and inspirational trainer, he has motivated and trained countless supervisors, managers and executives within The Department of Defense and The Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Humphries has also work closely with other organizations (Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Ball Aerospace and Bell Helicopter) in accomplishing their mission.
During his Air Force career he excelled by formulating aviation plans and scheduling for some of our nations prestigious military officials. Influenced by some of the best, Mr. Humphries has shared leadership discussions with former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff retired Gen. John Shalikashvili, two former U.S. Air Force Chief of staffs retired Gen. Ronald R. Fogleman, and retired Gen. Merrill A. McPeak. He has formulated training plans for thousands of men and women in the USAF.
Mr. Humphries hold degrees in the following; an MA in Business from Texas Women’s University, Denton, Texas, a BAS in Management from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas Texas and three degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Criminal Justice, Systems Technology and Personnel.
Mr. Humphries is very active in working with community organizations; Keep Denton Beautiful, Christmas Adopt a Child, The Martin Luther King Center, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and fundraising efforts for the Disabled Veterans of America. He was a finalist for the Jaycee Top 10 Young Americans for his community involvement. Mr. Humphries was heavily decorated in the Air Force and has received numerous civilian awards. Mr. Humphries passion to see others succeed ignited the vision to form Mission Capable, where he firmly believes that at Mission Capable your mission is our mission.

Mr. Rich Pennington
Chief, Instructional Systems Design
Mr. Pennington is the Chief of Instructional Systems Design for Mission Capable. He has more than 25 years experience in management and organizational development consulting. Rich excels at leading and organizing teams, implementing change principles, using project management methodologies, and performing instructional systems design services. He is an outstanding communicator, facilitator, and leader.
Because of his diverse background, Rich has made positive impacts with both private and public sector organizations, whether they are a new workforce project or a well-established office. These past 10 years he conducted analyses, designed and/or developed instructor-led and web-based training programs for numerous clients from the energy, telecommunications, transportation, federal and municipal government, retail, environmental, non-profit, and call center industries. While in the Air Force, Rich assessed training needs, designed, developed, and implemented Quality Management courses for the United States Air Forces in Europe Command. Additionally, he coached senior military executives, developed a quality council infrastructure, and instituted strategic quality improvement planning efforts. Rich also facilitated strategic planning development and occupational workforce training for the command.
Rich’s formal education includes graduating from the University of Oklahoma, University of Maryland in Europe, USAF Squadron Officers’ School and USAF Air Command and Staff College.
Rich is also a bi-vocational education minister with a local church in DeSoto, Texas where has served for six years. Rich has led numerous seminars and conferences in the community on such topics as marriage enrichment, parenting, financial planning, budgeting, communications; and support groups for people grieving, surviving divorce recovery and overcoming addictive behaviors.
